I started Aunt Neekies! Ginger & Spice, LLC to help others savor the warmth of fresh baked ginger cookies, with the hope that our delightful little ginger treats could act as a little haven of happiness. Aunt Neekies! Cookies are an opportunity for connection. Anyone from young children and their grandparents to couples can connect by savoring the warmth of our old-fashioned ginger molasses cookie while in their separate or joined living spaces. In this small way, Aunt Neekies! Cookies helps generate joyous memories in spite of the difficulties of the day. I believe everyone should have an opportunity to experience that kind of ginger cookie joy.
Aunt Neekies! Ginger & Spice, LLC in Atlanta began with baking our beloved Old-Fashioned Ginger Molasses cookies and mini snaps and has since expanded to include a few ginger & spice handcrafted gifts and a wide variety of baked goods that are either lightly or boldly gingered. Our recipes use only the highest quality nonGMO or organic ingredients as well as locally sourced eggs, honey and hibiscus. We currently offer local markets a variety of fresh-baked goods including our signature Old-Fashioned Ginger Molasses, Ging-O-Colate(TM) Chip, Twisted Lemon-Ginger and Ginger-Hibiscus Lemon chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin ginger spice cookies. We also have hot water molasses gingerbread and a line of scones, including orange cranberry ginger, and lemon hibiscus ginger. Our cupcakes include our most popular lemon hibiscus ginger as well as red velvet ginger, banana s'mores (topped with a mini ginger molasses cookie), and vanilla with orange ginger cream, to name a few. This year, we will be launching our ginger and spice soups. Our Farmer's Market booth always features the Ginger Molasses cookie with two or three other ginger and spice items. Usually with a vegan and gluten free option.
