About

Founded in 2012, All Things Wild is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit located in Georgetown. The mission is to rescue and rehabilitate injured, orphaned, and sick wild animals and return them to the wild as well as educate the public on how to co-exit peacefully with wildlife. All Things Wild operates a wildlife rehabilitation center a few miles north of downtown Georgetown where, during 2023, over 3,600 animals were admitted for treatment and care. Wild animals are found and brought to the center by members of the general public as well as law enforcement, such as animal control. All Things Wild also has an education program where volunteers present wildlife programs with ambassador animals at schools and groups.. In 2023, All Things Wild opened the Little Red Schoolhouse, located next to the rehabilitation center, where programs on wild animals are held. Wildlife rehabilitation is not funded by any governmental entities and is dependent on donations from the general public.
