Monkey Mart by Trish has been in business for 2 years. I turned a hobby into a small business after loosing my job in 2020. Prior to that, I took orders from family and friends and that grew into our business. I have a small shop on my home property but our main point of sales are craft shows / farmers markets.
Monkey Mart is a family business. One of my sisters is my partner, but there are three of us that make all of our products. For shows, other family members help to work them and we're constantly building our client list. For shows it takes a village and I'm fortunate to have a fantastic family that provides assistance. Larger shows we do are at the Iowa State Fair Grounds, Winterset Covered Bridge Festival, and Pella Tulip Time.
