We are a local Veteran/female owned houseplant company. Our collection of curated indoor plants are trending and easy to care for. We provide care instructions and ongoing care and maintenance support to our customers. All of our plants come from high quality nurseries located in Texas, Florida, or California. Our mission is to educate, empower and support our customers through the entire plant cycle. We also provide plant styling services for homes or businesses.

Megan has had a love of collecting indoor plants since she moved into a duplex with 6 sliding glass doors and skylights abound when she was 22 years old. She spent her college years scouting vintage macrame on eBay and thrift stores and learning how to not kill her huge plant collection. Now, almost 18 years later, Megan runs Root To Rise Plant shop out of her home in Georgetown, Texas. With the help of her husband and 12 year old daughter, the shop specializes in curating easy to care for indoor plants for any space. Root To Rise was born from Megan's time as a yoga student, then yoga teacher, until injury and auto immune illness put a halt to her daily practice. Plants became Megan's way of healing. Taking care of her plants provided her a purpose to keep moving forward, even in the dark days. Most days, if she's not doing endless plant chores, you'll either find Megan at a concert (probably Texas country), at her local brewery with her friends, or plant shopping of course!
