Philodendron White Knight

- The White Knight Philodendron features large leaves with variegated patterns of white and dark green. The white variegation can vary from leaf to leaf, creating a unique and eye-catching display. This variety is very similar to the White Wizard and White Princess with the primary difference being the dark burgandy stems and petioles setting it apart.

Care Instructions:
1. Light: The White Knight Philodendron thrives in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate lower light conditions, but its variegation may fade. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.

2. Temperature: This plant prefers temperatures between 65-85°F (18-29°C). Protect it from extreme temperature fluctuations and drafts. Avoid placing it in areas with cold drafts or near heating vents.

3. Watering: Water your White Knight Philodendron when the top inch of soil feels slightly dry. It enjoys slightly moist soil but should not be constantly wet. Ensure that the pot has drainage holes to allow excess water to escape and prevent root rot.

4. Humidity: The White Knight Philodendron thrives in higher humidity levels. You can increase humidity by misting the leaves regularly, using a humidifier, or placing a tray of water near the plant. Grouping plants together can also create a more humid microclimate.

5. Soil: Plant your White Knight Philodendron in well-draining, peat-based soil. A mixture of peat moss, perlite, and orchid bark can work well. It prefers slightly acidic to neutral soil pH.

6. Fertilizer: Feed your plant with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Follow the instructions on the fertilizer packaging for the correct dosage. Reduce or stop fertilizing during the dormant winter months.

7. Support: As the White Knight Philodendron grows, it may benefit from a support structure such as a moss pole or trellis. This will help it grow upright and prevent the vines from trailing on the ground.

8. Pruning: Trim any yellow or damaged leaves to maintain the plant's overall health and appearance. You can also prune the plant to control its size and shape, encouraging bushier growth.
