Music City Animal Rescue
Vendor
Established in 2013, Music City Animal Rescue is an all volunteer, 501(c)3 organization that rescues abandoned, abused, and neglected animals in and around Middle Tennessee. We have no brick and mortar facility, we are a completely foster home based organization. We provide complete vetting including spay/neuter and micro-chipping prior to finding them a loving forever home. We are dedicated to educating the public on responsible pet ownership as well including the importance of spay/neuter and micro-chipping.
Vickie Harris, Director
I am the Director of Music City Animal Rescue. My passion has always been to help animals in need and after volunteering with other rescues in the area, I saw a great need and chartered MCAR in 2013. I have also worked with animal nutrition for over 10 years. I educate pet parents on ways to keep their pets healthy and happy thru cooking shows, interviews etc... I currently have several cats and dogs of my own as well as a "house goat" named Philly. He was a rescue that had multiple health issues so he became a member of the MCAR family for life.
