Mystical Mushroom Farm LLC provides gourmet mushroom grow kits grown from organically sourced local ingredients. They currently have Lions Mane and Blue Oyster in their production run, but will expand to have more medicinal tasty varieties as the season goes on. These grow kits are packaged in recyclable, colorful boxes and come with a mister to do the only real work to growing these mushrooms (misting them daily). The business owners believe in the importance of mushrooms as a food staple and vegetarian source of B vitamins and an umami flavor.

I am a 2021 University of Virginia graduate with a double major in Global Sustainability, Religious Studies and a minor in Urban and Environmental Planning. My partner taught me to grow mushrooms. We want to offer a sustainable and locally sourced product to the greater Charlottesville community. This way, they too can enjoy fresh medicinal mushrooms. The company is called Mystical Mushroom Farm because of both my passion for meditation, and the way mushrooms powerfully grow through the dirt the same way we too can create beautiful and peaceful mind states in spite of the chaos around us.
