Sapele Keepsake Box

This box is 3 1/4" tall by 6" wide by 9" long and is made of sapele. It has a captured lid with a raised panel made of hard maple. It also has miter joints that make up the corners of the box and they are reinforced with splines made of hard maple. When you remove the lid, you see a beautiful abstract painting on the bottom panel.
