Homespun Fiber Arts

Homespun Fiber Arts as a business was born out of my love for hand-spinning yarn with natural fibers, especially alpaca. Alpaca as a fiber is rather uncommon in the US, but it is in high demand because it is naturally hypoallergenic, softer and warmer than wool, and comes in a variety of natural colors. My yarns are spun from my own alpacas’ fleeces, and my finished garments are knitted either with my own yarn or another, high-quality supplier’s yarn. Because of its lovely hand and natural beauty, it is my pleasure to create and share the simply elegant treat of hand-spun alpaca yarn and finished garments with other fiber connoisseurs whenever there is an opportunity.
