The Final Sauce is a specialty condiment product that specializes in barbecue sauces, spice rubs, marinades and vinaigrettes. All products are manufactured in small batches, hand made locally in the Bay Area.
My sister Florence Sims (Brownie) and I had an Aunt who managed a famous barbecue restaurant in the Bay Area more than thirty years ago. As a family, cooking, holidays and get togethers were an important part of our connection and community. Food and barbecue were always present. Many years later after my Aunt left the restaurant and it ultimately went out of business, my sister Brownie taught herself to duplicate the sauce with a slight difference in the preparation as well as in the flavors. Friends and family would say to her “you need to bottle this sauce and sell it”. So in 2013, my sister Brownie began the process of manufacturing and selling the sauce. She did her research, found a commercial kitchen and began making the sauce. In 2016, I joined her by moving back to California from Virginia to help run the business. In 2013, we started with one sauce and as of today’s date, have now grown the business to include a total of 25 sauces, rubs, marinades, vinaigrettes and limited editions with many more to come.
