We started making natural body products at home as gifts for our family and friends. We wanted to share these products with others, so we created our family business Snap&Dragon. Nicole, the owner named it after the snapdragon flower that she and her Grandmother grew in her Grandmother’s backyard in Ohio. We create custom blended sugar and salt scrubs made with essential oils, coconut oil and various other carrier oils. We have added bath salts, perfume roller balls and other beauty and bath products. Nicole received her aesthetician’s license from Aveda Salon, she uses that knowledge to help create natural body products that energizes the body, mind and spirit.
Nicole received her aesthetician and massage therapy license from Aveda Salon. She is a mother of two children 9 and 7 years old. She is a substitute teacher at a Hillsborough County school and is involved with the PTA. Nicole creates and makes our natural body products. Marilyn Fortney, Nicole’s mother is a retired banker and assists Nicole in making the scrubs, she also does most of the official business filings. Samatha Byram, Nicole’s sister-n-law has one daughter 9, she works at a Pinellas County school. Sam does all the invoicing and billing for Snap&Dragon.
