Clear Sky Flowers was started in 2020 by Lacey Bell. We grow cut flowers in the small town of Leon in southern Iowa. The focus is on high quality, specialty flowers. Our mixed bouquets can be found at local farmers' markets. We also sell wholesale to local florists.

Production Practices
Integrated Pest Management
Our flowers are currently grown using only OMRI certified fungal and pesticides, only as necessary. Composts and manure are sourced locally and are not certified. Purchased, bagged amendments are certified OMRI. Post-harvest treatments are necessary to achieve the longest lasting blooms, so we do use cut flower foods and holding solutions to treat our stems.

Lacey Bell founded Clear Sky Flowers in 2020 after moving back to rural Iowa. Lacey grew up on a farm outside of Leon and wanted to return to her roots growing a product for her local community. She still also runs her apparel technical design and pattern-making business, Fireflyline. Her experience in the fashion industry gives her a unique approach to floral designs.
