Black Goat Homestead is a small family run farm in Carlisle , located in Schoharie county. we are primarily a dairy, meat goat and produce farm. We have an array of products. We sell farm fresh eggs , luxury goats milk beauty products, hand made scented oil blends, produce and herbs. We have sold at both Washington park and Guilderland farmers markets. Our farm also regularly attends Albany events and markets. We have been in business for over 8 years , but have been gaining momentum in the past 4.

Use Only Organic Materials
Our farm uses no artificial chemicals or fertilizers in our growing process. Our produce is started from heirloom or organic seeds and is grown with just the fertilizer from our goats and chickens. Our eggs are free range eggs and our chickens are fed a natural diet and family table scraps. All of our goats milk soap and products are made form our own dairy goats and mostly local ingredients.

I started this business as a way to support my children and live a sustainable lifestyle . Our primary food source comes from our own land . My children , my partner and my self keep the whole operation running . All of our products are made with large families in mind . Not only are do we carry high quality products , they are economical. Everything we make is made fresh and in small batches.
