The Good Loaf is an organic micro bakery located in Clearwater, FL. We specialize in long fermented sourdough bakery items. Creating nutritious breads and other baked goods that not only taste amazing but are gentle on the tummy is our number one priority. That’s why we use all organic ingredients, wild yeast and ancient grain. We believe in getting back to basics, eating the way we were intended to; natural, homemade, nourishing.
I’ve always had a passion for baking. I even went to culinary school right out of high school! I instead pursued my other passion- fitness. However, I soon realized many people had compromised gut health and hormonal imbalances that weren’t allowing them to reach their optimal health. It wasn’t until developing my own health issues, and healing them not by eliminating foods but by taking a holistic approach to my diet, that I realized I could bring nutrition and my passion for baking together to raise awareness about what we’re actually putting in our bodies and create high quality, REAL food to help fix the gut health crisis that’s currently affecting so many of us. And, well, I just love bread.
