Bird Song Lavender Farm

In 2005 began researching characteristics of lavender varieties, taking soil tests and consulting with Growers in Washington State, Oregon and California and attended lavender growing seminars. Our first planting was in the spring of 2006. First time we were able to harvest was 2009. In 2010 the farm was opened to visitors selling lavender from our barn. Also in 2010 we did our first distillation of our lavender providing essential oil and hydrosol to begin developing our products. In 2015 became a vender at Waco Downtown Farmers Market and started utilizing markets and festivals to sell our products.
