About
The Holton Homestead, accidently founded in 2015. We started with a small market garden and a few chickens, but soon found our true passion- bees! We have 200+ hives in Polk County. We raise our own bees and extract their honey. Of course we have regular honey- but we have fun creating new flavors of creamed, infused, & hot honey! We love teaching about the bees and opening the communities mind with education on beekeeping and cooking with honey.
We also make a variety of beeswax candles and a few handmade products from the beeswax.

Free Range Use Only Organic Materials Pastured Perennial Crops
Our chickens & ducks are free range and on pasture. We have perennial crops such as apples, berries, & peaches. We use only organic materials in our flavored honey and other products.
