Euzumeh
Specialty Food Artisan
I have been doing popups in Portland and throughout Oregon for about two years. I make Middle-Eastern food with a Pacific Northwest flare. Both my parents are from Jordan, and I was raised in the kitchen, learning how to cook from my grandma, mom, and aunts. It has been fun and exciting to be able to share the food that is native to my family with the Portland community. Expanding my clientele by selling my goods at the farmer's market would be an incredible opportunity and a big step forward with my little business. I'm hoping to sell my dips, pickles, pita bread, other condiments and potentially a couple baked goods.

I run Euzumeh by myself. I have a team that helps me the day of my popups but I do everything else myself. I moved to Portland a little over 5 years ago and have worked in restaurants throughout Portland. I started Euzumeh about 2 years ago by doing popups out of Milk Glass Mrkt. During the pandemic I would sell my food to go. Last year I moved out to Joseph, OR for 8 months to work with my friends that owned The Gold Room. That's where I learned to cook with a wood-fired oven. I was able to continue Euzumeh out there. Since moving back to Portland, I have been able to continue working with a wood-fired ovens and continue doing my popups out here. I feel very lucky to be able to cook the food that is so close to my heart.
