Hello,
We opened as a Portland ice cream shop in 2019. Our non-dairy ice "cream" was made from chickpeas. When the pandemic forced us to shut our doors, we pivoted to Chickpea Butter. It is a nut free solution to nut butter. We are still pretty new to the market, and wanting to connect face to face with people in Portland. Thanks so much for your consideration.

Hi,
I've lived in Portland for 17 years. One of the reasons I moved back West (I was living in NYC but grew up in Seattle) was for the amazing fresh veggies from small farms. I've run my own businesses here in Portland since I arrived. The first one was Polliwog, a children's retail boutique that was open from 2005-2020. And then more recently, Other Foods, a line of gluten-free baking mixes.
Today I am thrilled to help out the team at Little Chickpea, to spread the word of Chickpea Butter!
