Goat Goddess Soap Co
Vendor
We have a small farm with three goats, and I make a variety of goat milk soaps from Mama Dottie's milk! We love our Dottie and all the bounty she has given us! I make the soaps on the same farm in a little cottage studio within earshot of our (sometimes loud!) goats.
Pastured Free Range
Our goats have plenty of room for foraging and lots of snuggles. They are supplemented with local orchard grass hay and minerals. Soap is made with Goat milk, lye and organic oils: coconut oil, olive oil, avocado oil, castor oil; and natural shea butter. Natural clays and sometimes sea salt or local honey are added. I have two lines of soap: "All-Natural Soaps" (either unscented or scented with essential oils, and any colorants are from clays, botanicals, or charcoal). "Nearly Natural Soaps" (paraben- and phalate-free synthetic fragrances, and colored micas.) I source my oils through small businesses (Hummingbird Wholesale in Eugene, Shay & Co in Milwaukie, and the shea butter from Plant Guru on Etsy). I support local businesses whenever possible. Occasionally I will use locally-sourced lard or tallow in my soaps, as well.
Katie Bronec
I have grown up with an appreciation for the land, and more recently have been educating myself more about decolonization, reparations, and land justice. I'm currently pursuing a Masters in Social Work, and on the side I make goat milk soap with Mama Dottie's precious milk. I am currently the steward of a parcel of ancestral land of the Kalapuya people, just south of Canby. I live with my husband, two teenagers, three goats, several chickens, a crazy farm hound, and three cats, and my mom lives just down the lane.
