Burning Desire (Heart surrounded in flames)

These sculptures pop out at you and the frames are lifted from the wall together the depth is apx 3". The Height and length of frames vary yet this one is apx. 8"H x 7 1/4"w.

From handcrafted clay to cast resin. Each sculpture I make is different in color and finish so no two are alike though my style is recognizable. You can say the same for the wood canvas frames that are made up of strips cut from larger pieces. I sometimes color them in batches so they match. The surface of the wood panels have deep textured grooves giving them a distressed finish which resembles that of worm wood. The next step is flame torching adding a warm natural appearance. Sometimes there is a bit of sparkle shimmer added to the clear coat.
