La Mariposa Arts
Material Goods/Craft/Flea/Art
As a 2019 graduate from Douglas Anderson, I still practice painting and sculpture to this day. It is the one thing that makes me feel grounded.
After coming back from tech school when I joined the USAF reserves, my family encouraged me to continue my passion. I started making moss art as decor for my house, then people wanted them as gifts—then people were saying I should shift my passion to a career!
With all of that support, how could I not take this leap of faith. In October I started doing pop-ups. Not every moment is sunshine and rainbows, but I’ve had a blast!
Thank you for your consideration, I look forward to the opportunity to work with other creatives and makers
