Fezela Woodcraft
Material Goods/Craft/Flea/Art
A boat builder by trade, South African born Roy Todd has a passion for working with wood.
In recent years, he has built and sold various classic strip-built canoes and kayaks under his name ‘Fezela Kayaks’.
He realized the beauty and full potential of working with exotic woods while building these classic wooden boats.
With that, he started to make cutting boards, charcuterie boards, clocks, & bowls, as well as exquisite wooden canoe paddles - each of them unique. He thought he would call it ‘Fezela Woodcraft’.
*The origin of the name ‘Fezela’ (pronounced Fezéːla) is from the Zulu word meaning scorpion.
