My name is Amanda and I discovered soap making during the pandemic and I became enamored with the creative process and flexibility in controlling ingredients in your skincare routine. As a lifelong swimmer who also has eczema, I've always suffered from dry, cracking skin. The passion that started as a craft turned quickly into a personal benefit because of my sensitive skin. It also played to my environmental-loving side because it reduced my plastic consumption in the bathroom. For these reasons, I became addicted to soap making and the peace and calm it brought me and the challenges it always presents. Eventually, Tierrapy was born when my soaping habit grew far too large for my kitchen alone and I looked to share my products with others!

I make all my products myself, handmade in a spare room in my home. From designing product labels, packaging, soap and candle pouring, website management, social media, packing up and tearing down for farmer's markets, I do it all. I am flattered by those who ask if I do this full time or if I have a store front or teach courses. Thank you so much, not at this time. But that would be a dream come true.
