WicksNWax
Material Goods/Craft/Flea/Art
WicksNWax started during the shutdown of 2020. Patrick a restaurant manager didn’t know if the restaurant would reopen. With many uncertainties during that time he decided to find something productive to do. His wife, Gina, an ER nurse was off saving the world at the time, As we all know you could not get many things during the shutdown as the supply chain was down. So Patrick turned toward bottles, used bottles from the restaurant. Most of these bottles go directly into the landfill. He wanted to find a way to reuse and upcycle used bottles into candles. Fast forward to Oct 2020 where him and his wife Gina started the Bradenton Public Market in Downtown, never thinking anyone would buy a candle from him. To his surprise, many did and they loved the fact that they could return them once completed to be upcycled back in to candles again and then pass along a discount to customers who participated. Join us on our journey and let’s enjoy candles the ec-friendly way. Hope to see you at a market soon!
