Travis Mammedaty is a Kiowa Expressionist Artist from Oklahoma. His style incorporates images related to the plains style tribes of which he has grew up with. Stories that have been handed down to him also can be seen in his imagery. Mammedaty's style is a simple yet sophisticated style that has caught the attention of private collectors and galleries throughout the country. Mammedaty is also a Kiowa language instructor and traditional singer in which he draws inspiration and finds these fragile ways important and he hopes they will live through his art and the oral tradition.
