KRISTI JENSEN ART

Hello, I’m Kristi Jensen, a multi genre and style Christian artist, residing in Florida originally from California. I have been married to my handsome hubby for over 23 years, have three active kiddos and three silly dogs. I love the beach, the mountains, the lake, traveling and getting lost in a good book. I savor memories from living in Belize for a period of time, and cannot wait for the next adventure both in living abroad and in my art career.

I’ve always been an artful soul my whole life dabbling in drawing/painting as a child, through high school and minored in art in college. While I did not pursue art as my original career, art has ALWAYS been a dream of mine to pursue. However, being a teacher for close to two decades provided many opportunities to explore and even teach art in various capacities.

After a horrific car accident in January of 2019 left me unable to return to teaching due to a traumatic brain injury and current healing of PTSD, I returned to art as a means of therapy. It helps me to process what is happening in my mind, body and soul. It led me to start creating art more deeply again and with an honest voice. Surviving a near death experience changed the way I see my surroundings and myself, but it has also ignited in me a need to reach out to anyone in need of healing to let them know they are not alone.

God willing, my truest goal is to reach someone in a way that speaks to their soul - especially towards healing - and to ultimately be a blessing to others through this work. I seek to speak to their soul, bring joy and an unconditional love all while breaking the stereotypes of what it means to live as a Christian. I aim to do so through this non-verbal medium, evoking a sense of connection between myself and the viewer through various genres and styles to reach a larger audience.
