Enchanted Art
Vendor
I am from Colombia (South America) but living in the US for over 20 years, working as an Algebra teacher in Lee county. I recently decided to start a business to help the Wayuu communities; one of the most needed native communities in my country and the most closed to my heart, as my own children are descendants of this tribe. The Wayuu are an indigenous group of people that still jealously preserve their cultural traditions, among them, the Art of weaving, taught according to the myth by a spider. They weave a variety of products, including multi-colored bags with unique artistic designs, each bag is unique and one of a kind. No two bags are alike.
I travel and work directly with a small group of families, women head of household who craft these bags.
