Founded in 2022, Southern Wilde is an online boutique based in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Wife to Mike and mom to two boys, Braeden and Max, DeAnn McKeever designed Southern Wilde through her own love for shopping and desire to find clothes she felt sexy and confident in. She wanted to create a space where women could count on quality apparel, competitive prices and unmatched customer service.
Hi y’all! My name is DeAnn McKeever. I’ve been an Oklahoma transplant since 2012 when my Okie native husband dragged me outta Texas and settled us in Stillwater, Ok. As most of you likely know, us Texans take being a Texan pretty serious. I never would have dreamed that I would’ve grown to love Oklahoma and Stillwater so much! It has provided our family with such amazing opportunities and given my two boys a safe space to grow up in. I graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelors degree in organizational behavior and human resource management. After 15+ years in the professional workforce, I decided it was time to take a step back and focus on my family. During my “break” I was able to help my husband get his construction company off the ground and also further my education, obtaining my masters degree in accounting. Even after all of that, the maximizer in me knew I needed more and that’s where Southern Wilde was born. For years I’d dreamed of creating my own space for my peers to come and shop with me. I wanted to be able to have “girl time” all the time, all while helping women find clothes that made them feel effortlessly beautiful! I’ve always loved shopping boutiques and exploring each store’s own unique sense of styles. Luckily, with the full support of my husband, I’ve been able to turn my dream into reality and I’m SO happy to finally be a part of the Boutique family!
