Liliana Rojas Raya grew up in Guanajuato, Mexico where she learned how to make candles from her grandmother through a recipe that has been passed down through generations. She immigrated to the United States when she was 16 years old and graduated from the Art Institute with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Media Arts and Animation.
Lezlie Martinez is a first generation Cuban American whose family immigrated to the United States from San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba when Fidel Castro’s communist regime took over Cuba. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio-TV-Film with an emphasis on creative writing.
