Our team is comprised of a Swede, a vegan and Celiac living in Des Moines. The three of us love to bake and we especially love to FIKA - (in Swedish) a break from activity during which people drink coffee, eat cakes or baked goods, and relax with others. We created this business to spread the joy of FIKA in Des Moines. The team lead Emily, lived in Sweden for 3 years with her Swedish husband Par, Emily's sister Brita has joined them to lend her vegan baking expertise. We offer a variety of traditional Swedish baked goods with a modern flare. Vegan and gluten friendly options are available.
