Hello! Violette Bakery launched in 2019 as a cottage bakery in Waco, TX. We specialize in French macarons, but also make madeleines, traditional drop cookies, cookie sandwiches, cakes, cupcakes, and muffins. Over the last three years, we've made a niche for ourselves in the Waco market, baking beautiful macarons with local ingredients, offering custom macaron flavors/colors and a rotating seasonal menu. We actually began at the WDFM, back in 2019, then took a break from in person events because of COVID and welcoming a new baby to our family. We loved being a part of the WDFM community and would love to return with an expanded bakery menu.

Hello! My name is Mary and I've been running Violette since 2019. Originally from Austin, I moved to Waco in 2012, and loved it...except I couldn't find French macarons and pastries anywhere in town, back then. So, I taught myself how to make the treats I missed, then started making them for our family and friends. Violette was born out of sharing the love of baking with my community and it has blossomed into a way to give back to Waco. I love being a part of people's special events! We get to celebrate with our customers for birthdays, weddings, baby showers, and all of life's special moments. It's such an honor and treat to run a business like this.
