Shakia Williams is a wine maker, wine enthusiast, avid traveler and Owner of Cyrenity Sips winery located in Hatboro, PA. She is a change-maker in the wine community, as the first African American Women owned limited winery in Southeastern, Pennsylvania including Philadelphia County. As the first African American Women owned limited winery in Southeastern, Pennsylvania, Cyrenity Sips Winery, under the ownership of Shakia Williams is committed to educating BIPOC and underserved communities about wine while maintaining a positive and vibrant atmosphere.

Originally from Philadelphia, Shakia along with her daughter, Cyan, moved to Virginia Beach, VA in 2012. There she married Clifford Williams in 2013. As a wine enthusiast, she saw that there was a lack in her community for small batch urban wineries. She was determined to create a winery near her hometown of Philadelphia, PA. She began working at a winery in Virginia Beach, VA to learn how to operationalize and manage a winery. She developed the wine-making skill along the way. She returned to her home state and rented a property near her hometown. The winery is the first and only winery in Hatboro, PA
The wine is manufactured, bottled and labeled on the premises. Each wine was carefully named after a family member, friend or pun to give personification to the wine. Once open, Cyrenity Sips will offer 19 and counting- distinct wines for tasting and retail sales. Cyan and Clifford will be instrumental in winery, as the winery is family operated.
