Grounded Mushrooms

I’ve been growing mushrooms for the past two years in my rented spare bedroom. I have recently purchased a house and converted my garage (and half the house) into a mushroom farming operation capable of producing over 200lbs of mushrooms a week at full capacity. I am in the beginning stages of scaling my operation in order to produce mushrooms full time. While the majority of what I grow is considered gourmet, I am interested in the medicinal mushrooms, tinctures, and capsules/powdered mushrooms for health benefits.

After graduating from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business I jumped head first into running a food truck in Bloomington for over 8 years. After moving back to indy in 2020 I tried a corporate job and quickly moved into starting Grounded Mushrooms out of my spare bedroom. Creating the business has been slow but steady and sustainable growth and I plan on being here for a long time to come.
