About
Mission:We began Fat Flower with the goal creating a safer, more transparent, and overall superior CBD oil. We selected rare hemp strains based on unique and diverse cannabinoid & terpene profiles (Including high CBG & CBDV). We grew our hemp from seed on our organic farm and carefully took it through cultivation and harvest.
Why We're Different From Other CBD Companies:We have focused on growing unique and rare non-psychoactive cannabinoids including high CBD, CBG & CBDV strains. Each of our products are made from full spectrum, Certified Organic hemp oil. Due to differences in cannabinoids and terpenes, each of our 3 products has a different effect/feeling. Our CBG product is named FOCUS, our CBD product is called RELAX and our high CBDV product is named BLISS. Each of our products appeals to different customers for different reasons which allows us to reach a much wider audience than a typical CBD company. Our finished tincture products are Certified Organic.
Safety:Our farm and hemp are Certified Organic. We utilized solvent free CO2 extraction at a certified organic processing/bottling facility. Our chemist formulated products have been tested for and are free of pesticides, residual solvents, microbials, mycotoxins & heavy metals (Non-Detect on all tests).
Farmer's Market Experience:We've spent the past few years in multiple farmers markets including Festival Park (Castle Rock), Parker Farmers Market, Southlands, Larkspur & Evergreen. Rather than hire employees for Farmers Markets, we work them ourselves because we enjoy educating customers about how our products can benefit them in addition to describing our growing/processing methods.

Production Practices
Use Only Organic Materials
We start with Certified Organic hemp seeds. We sprout them and transplant the seedlings into our fields on our Certified Organic farm. All soil inputs/amendments are Certified Organic. The lack of humidity means very few pests and we are able to utilize biodiversity to manage all pests (Lady Bugs etc...) We hand harvest and hang the plants inside of a barn to air dry them. This preserves a high percentage of beneficial cannabinoids & terpenes. Our dried plant material is taken to a solvent free CO2 extraction facility where it is extracted into a Full Spectrum Extract and blended/bottled. Our chemist formulated products have been tested for and are free of pesticides, residual solvents, microbials, mycotoxins & heavy metals (Non-Detect on all tests). Our finished tincture products are Certified Organic.

After experiencing the healing benefits of CBD firsthand, Matt and Erin decided to start a hemp farm in order to take hemp from seed to finished product and directly oversee the entire process. For the past 5 years their goal has been to offer transparency, education & credibility to a fledgling industry that lacks any significant regulation. Matt has developed Fat Flower's entire growing process beginning with selecting superior, new and diverse hemp strains, to growing, harvesting and extracting the plant material utilizing the current industry best practices. Erin's eye for design and detail-oriented nature have brought the brand to life in a way that builds trust with customers. In following their passion, Matt & Erin have discovered that different cannabinoids offer unique feelings/experiences compared to traditional CBD.
