Park Wagyu Cattle Farm
Farmer
We are a 100% disable veteran owned and operated family farm raising purebred registered wagyu cattle. Certified through FSIS to label our meat as Wagyu and recognized as part of Home Grown by Heroes. We pride ourselves on sustainable farming practices and the ethical and humane raising of our cattle. All of our cows are registered through the American Wagyu Association. No hormones or additives in our meat. We feed our cows hay grown on our farm and corn grown by our neighbor across the road. All of our cows are processed at a USDA facility in Colfax IN.
Our goal is to provide locally bred, raised and fed exceptional meat to our community utilizing the work ethic and morals our founder garnered as an Army Ranger.
Antibiotic And Hormone Free Pastured
We pride ourselves on providing our Wagyu Cattle a low stress environment coupled with ethical and humane raising and management practices. Our cows are never stuffed into feed lots. We have planted a custom grass mix in our pastures that are they rotated on throughout the growing season. In the winter they come up front near our house into winter paddocks. These paddocks have enclosures to keep them out of the elements if they choose. Constant hay, grown on our farm, is available and a fence line feeding system is utilized to always provide clean water and corn grain.
Our cows are herd animals and because of that they are never alone unless absolutely necessary for their health. We also do not wean until close to 8mo and practice fence line weaning so there is low to no stress. Our pregnant cows have access to bed down in our barn throughout the winter to optimize their comfort health.
We are certified through FSIS to label our meat Wagyu because they are all DNA registered with the American Wagyu Association.
We also hold certification with Home Grown By Heroes via our founder, Jason Park who is a 100% disabled veteran.
No hormones or additives given to our cows.
Alexandra & Jason Park
Jason is a veteran from two branches of the military, Air Force and Army. He was an elite Army Ranger for the majority of his military career serving in 8 combat deployments and leading his team in most of those. He separated from the military and was rated 100% disabled but did not let that stop him from becoming part of the Ambassador’s protective detail in Afghanistan up to and during the fall, and in Iraq.
Alexandra is Jason’s wife and mother to their 3 children. She manages and runs the farm with her husband or alone when he is with the Ambassador.
Building our farm from the ground up since 2017 and finally being able to provide our meat to the community is a goal we have been striving for for years. We are incredibly proud of our farm and cows and can’t wait to share our exceptional meat with our community.
