About
We are a nursery that specializes in tropical fruit, edible perennials, medicinals, perfume plants, and grafted cacti. We grow most everything we have from seed organically - no middleman, no giant plant warehouse we go buy our plants from. We named our nursery after the famous perfume flower, Ylang Ylang, because we also make 100% natural perfumes (AuraStPetePerfumery) and flower nectars (DayglowExtracts).

Jon has a background working as an herbalist, creating Dayglow Extracts (his first project making tinctures/ flower nectars), and has been growing rare plants for many years. He can name all of the hundreds of species of plants we grow by their Latin names and somehow doesn’t need labels on any of them! I (Georgia) am pretty good at remembering most of them by their common names 😂 which is still a lot to remember! I have my background in art, I owned a fine art gallery on the beach where I showcased many local artists from all over Florida. I’ve always been a multimedia artist, but never really found my absolute favorite way to create until I started studying the art of perfumery 4 years ago. I was always obsessed with perfumes, but something finally clicked and I have been blending them ever since! Not only that, but we grow many different perfume plants from all over the world, so I always have something to tincture or distill in my 60 liter copper still.
