About

We are a small (30 acre) family farm established in 2021, based in upper King William County. We raise pasture poultry (meat birds, layers, and turkeys), 100% Berkshire pigs on pasture and the woods, and grass-fed lamb. We feed our poultry and pigs a Non-GMO feed and we process all our poultry on farm. We are working to rebuild our pastures which were historically row cropped and have been left fallow for the last 5 years or so. Our goal is to raise happy, healthy animals in a manner as close to nature as possible to create nutrient dense clean meats that our customers can feel good about feeding their families while at the same time rebuilding the soil and improving the environment at the same time.

We do not use any chemicals on our pastures and our poultry is 100% chemical/medication free. We only use antibiotics on the pigs if homeopathic interventions have failed and the life of the animals is at risk.

We do not use any chemicals on our pastures and our poultry is 100% chemical/medication free. We only use antibiotics on the pigs if homeopathic interventions have failed and the life of the animals is at risk.

All of our animals are rotationally grazed, our egg layers and turkey's are allowed to free range within electric netting. We feed only non-GMO feed to our poultry and pigs and our lambs are 100% grass fed.

We plant cover crops using a no-till drill in the fall to help rebuild the soil and maintain growing plants all year round. We also seed behind our pigs and sheep as they move through paddocks to help the soil quickly rebound and improve the forage quality for future grazes. We never till anything on our pasture.
