About

Art Inherited was founded in 1998 by a Local artist an mother, Billie Jean Stevens and her daughters, Dannie Jean Stevens, Carol Stevens Mecum, Caren Stevens and Melody Stevens - all artists. Each in a different field of art, they decided to combine their skill sets into one company and named it Art Inherited because they inherited their love of art from their mom and because In-HER-ited has a "her" in the middle.
The business soon became well known for the fabulous murals and wall finishes and were in much demand. Sister Melody moved to Utah with her husband, Mother Billie Jean and sister Carol have departed this earth. The company now consists of family members, Dannie Jean, Caren, Niece Bambi Jean and third generation, Connor King. Still known for their wall painting on many homes, they have turned some of their children's surround rooms into stories. One of those stories is going to be our main product, along with some toddler t-shirts embellished with the characters from the book. The book is about undersea creatures learning to get along with their differences.
