Ellie Plants

Hi, I am Ellie. I love all things plant & design. I had the privilege to grow up on a beautiful farm at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, so from a young age my creativity and love of nature were given a space to truly blossom.

I've been an eco-friendly, fine gardener in the Charlottesville area for over a decade. I'm that person who can't allow any plant, no matter how scraggly, to be thrown out, so over the years I have amassed quite the backyard nursery.

That brings us to my newest plant themed venture: Ellie. Plants. Designs.

A culmination of my slightly obsessive collection of plants & my love of creating living art designs. I wanted to create art from locally sourced materials to innovate unique designs inspired by the nature around me. You will find an array of nature themed art pieces, hand made household products, + holiday and home decor designs, that flow and change with the seasons.
