We currently sell organic, roasted and seasoned, pre-packaged pecan products that we produce in our commercial kitchen in the Fishtown area of Philadelphia. We also intend to sell our raw pecans from our family's farm, if allowed, in various size packages from snacks up to bulk purchases.
My family has been growing pecans down in South TX for over 20 years. Today, we are one of the leading growers of organic tree nuts in the country. My partner, Colin Balickie, and I produce snacks using these pecans in Philadelphia -- Colin's hometown. This unique mix of family farm-grown produce, one that can't be found in the northeast, combined with deep Philadelphia-area roots, makes for what we think would be a wonderful addition to The Food Trust's Farmers Markets!

My family's farm, Rio Grande Organics, utilizes organic practices to build and replenish the soil while producing healthy, delicious foods. Our methods help sustain productivity and promote a healthier, more viable future for all. We offer USDA certified organic pecans and conventional pecans grown by organic standards.
