Green Heart Herbal Company started with a love for herbal hand-crafted products and a massage practice. We have been wildcrafting native and invasive herbs that grow in the Pacific Northwest since 2012. We have a strict sustainability ethic throughout our business, and only wildcraft or purchase herbs through responsible sources. We are also working on our property in the Columbia Gorge, 80 miles from Portland, to steward arnica and other herbs in a developing permaculture forest.
Starting with Arnica Muscle Rub, we branched out over the years making different soothing herbal infused oils and fulfilling requests from clients. We infuse herbs into oil at low temperatures making a high quality, full spectrum extraction in apricot kernel oil.

Production Practices
Perennial Crops Permaculture Design Holistic Management
We both wildcraft from the land around Oregon and Washington, and have perennial crops woven into the landscape of our property. We gather and spread seeds, both on our own property and in forest lands across Oregon and Washington. We do wildfire prevention work, clearing fire fuel, thinning trees, and drought resistance practices on our 22.49 acre timberland property. When we do purchase materials we look first for local businesses, in an effort to support small and local business, and to cut down on transportation energy use.

I am a 3rd generation Oregonian. Nature, herbs, and plants are in my blood. I used this love in combination with my need to help people experiencing pain to inspire my product line.
I am a Lisenced Massage Therapist of 9 years. I went to East West College of Healing Arts in Northeast Portland. While studying there I attended many herbal classes with an array of brilliant local herbalist and or naturopaths, a few being Debrah Francis and Scott Kloos. I learned the healing power of natural medicine and am in love with wildcrafting my own herbs.
Being a massage therapist I found many clients needing more pain relief in between visits. I created a pain relief salve for my regular clients. In the first year I adjusted the herbs to help many types of pain, from muscle and joint to nerve pain. To this day my clients and customers use this rub as a daily relief.
Since 2012 I have been adding more and more natural alternatives to my daily product-line; lotion bar, a wound salve, anti itch/ rash/ burn salve, a vapor salve for stuffy noses, lip balms, oils, and pain relieving bubble bath.
