Handicraft Soul is a fair trade & eco-friendly marketplace, a small business with a social purpose! Our aim is to empower global artisans by bringing their products to new markets in the U.S. We're a husband + wife team who splits our time between Florida & South Africa. We work with artisans in South Africa to purchase their handmade goods and pay them a fair wage upfront for their work. Many of our products are not only fair trade, but also incorporate recycled or up-cycled materials. By building relationships and connecting unique products to new customers, we hope to see artisans and their businesses flourish!

We're an international couple, with Max from South Africa and Ashley from Wisconsin. When we first met, we lived in South Africa and saw so many talented artisans making products that we thought people in the States would love. Not only would they love the products, but also the meaning behind purchasing something that was made by hand, knowing that person was paid fairly for their work too. We love being able to assist the artisans we work with in bringing their craft to the U.S. and creating a platform for their talent here.
