Petite Vignette

The Petite Vignette is great for people who are new to Lenormand and like short, snappy answers. Unlike Tarot readings, Lenormand readings begin by the client and the reader agreeing on a subject or targeted question to examine. The cards are then shuffled and cut, but, instead of dealing three cards, the deck is turned face up so the client and the reader can find the card representing their subject or targeted question, otherwise known as the significator. The significator and the two cards closest to it are pulled and read altogether.

The example pictured is of a client requesting what they need to know right now. After shuffling, the client and reader locate the Querent card in the deck. The two cards closest are the Key and the Fox, so they are also pulled. What this client needs to know right now is that they are on the verge of a lightbulb moment with regards to their career and, if they havent found it already, they should be on the lookout.
