Straight-Talker

The Straight-Talker is a no-nonsense spread perfect for yes or no questions. Clients will begin by asking their yes or no question. The cards will be shuffled, cut, and dealt into a straight horizontal line. The cards will be revealed all at once and collectively answer the question with a yes or a no and an explanation of why that answer was given. I like to offer this spread with five cards because it helps to provide an intensity of the response. If three of five cards indicate a yes, the outcoe to the question is likely; however, should all five cards indicate a yes, glory hallelujah it is so! Here is what I look for in yes and no responses:

YES - Major Arcana and even Pip cards (ie 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10)
NO - Odd Pip cards (ie Ace, 3, 5, 7, and 9) and Court cards (ie Page, Knight, Queen, King)
