I started creating jewelry artwork at the beginning of the pandemic as a way to stay creative while being confined at home. I received a lovely jewelry Christmas tree as a present in 2020, and it inspired me to take the jewelry left to me from my grandmothers and create artwork that is meaningful that could be enjoyed year round. I enjoyed the entire process so much that once I had repurposed all of my jewelry, I started looking for more vintage costume jewelry at the local Goodwill's and Salvation Army stores. I also buy all of the frames used in my art at second hand retailers.
