My name is Kallista, I'm the owner and pastry chef at Sugar Rush. I started my business almost 7 years ago in Scranton, PA and moved to Philadelphia almost 3 years ago. I specialize in French pastries, such as macarons, canele, elegant tarts, madelines, beignets and more. I strive to produce a beautiful product utilizing local ingredients in small batches. I produce all of the products myself currently but hope to open a brick and mortar soon. Since moving to Philly, I have paved my way through the pandemic by attending farmer's markets and selling my products through wholesale or filling special orders.

I'm Kallista, from Scranton, PA. I'm a graduate of the culinary institute of America where I trained in French baking techniques and fell in love with French pastries. I moved to Philadelphia a little over 3 years ago and absolutely love it here. I frequent local markets and farms and love to dine out in the city. I also have an Aussie mix named Piper who I love with my entire life!
