Originally a native to East Tennessee in the Great Smokey Mountains, Julie is the owner and creator of Anam Cara Clay Goods. An artist of many mediums throughout her life, painting, drawing, crafts, etc, her love for jewelry making has always been a constant. Polymer clay came to her in 2020 right before the pandemic and since then has thoroughly enjoyed the medium and the creativity and curiosities of the art form. With her husband Josh and their two fur babies, a black lab named Tucker and a cat named Pearl, she enjoys living at the foothills of the Blue Ridge in Waynesboro, VA. In 2019 her love of nonprofit work led her to Innisfree Village in Crozet, VA where she currently serves as volunteer recruiter and social media manager.
