The Joy of Curls is a plant-based hair care brand that makes natural oils and products for textured hair. We have a mission to share textured hair care knowledge and products with the foster community and partner with a local agency to donate hair products and provide classes on textured hair care. Our products are for both kids and caregivers.

I'm Joy Hankins, born and raised in the Mid-West and I am married with children and I am also a foster mom. I taught Elementary and High School Spanish for over 10 years before deciding to focus my time on creating a textured hair brand and helping the foster community with textured hair education. I love veggie burgers, Salsa dancing, and my daily cup of espresso. I enjoy meeting new people and I love to share hair tips and styles.
