Ananse’s Journey is a place we’re children can have access to toys by either donating old toys and swapping them for news, taking a donated toy, or renting a toy. We believe is spreading wisdom and so we also sell hand woven marker baskets directly from Ghana to help support access to toys and also to spread a little bit of wisdom from Ghana. We also specialize in renting toys from around the world.

Akwaaba, my name is Jane Faakye and welcome to Ananse's Journey. My family and I live in Camden County, NJ and also in West Africa throughout the year. We have two boys who lead us in exploring the world through play on two different continents. Switching between the two worlds the boys navigate social situations, create values and morals, and investigate both the natural and material environments that each continent has to offer. Our hope is to create wisdom through community and play by sharing the materials of different cultures with Camden County.
