F & D Farm is a small farm in Chilton County. We have been raising blackberries for several years. We visited several Farmers Markets last year with our Kiowa Blackberries and were greatly received. The customers would get a free sample of our fruit and would need to instantly buy a pint. We also, have blueberries. We enjoy being active in the community including being part of Chilton County Senior Connection. I am an active Chilton County Master Gardner and 4-H volunteer. We have finished the Farmers Market Food Safety class and also have Cottage Food law certificate.
Perennial Crops
The Kiowa blackberry plant is trained on a trellis wire system. We have several varieties of rabbit-eye blueberry bushes, Dorman Red raspberries, several varieties of fig trees and Elderberry bushes.
Forest and myself are retired. We enjoy being part of the community.
